Partnering for Damage Restoration Services in Birmingham, AL
The Chief Grill Daddy Initiative was founded by Fultondale Fire Chief Justin McKenzie. As our partnerships have grown tighter with county associations, districts and volunteer departments we saw the need to help Chief McKenzie in his ultimate goal of helping others in his storied career of public service. Notably, our main events that we raise funds for are The Pediatric Burn Foundation of Alabama in Alexander City, The Blount County Junior Firefighter Camp, The Trevor Moore Memorial Softball Tournament in Pell City, Explorer Weekend at The Alabama Fire College in Tuscaloosa, the Ricky Davis Memorial Golf Tournament in Grayson Valley, The City of Morris Blue Spoon Chili Fest. Throughout the year you can catch Chief and ‘the Hosedraggers’ all over Metro Birmingham in their ‘Mobile Food Unit’ cooking for great First Responder causes and competitive BBQ and Chili cook off events. Notable members of our Hosedraggers include retired Chief Gene Coleman of Center Point, Chief Bartlett of Rocky Ridge, Chief McDaniel of Irondale, Chief Clevenger of Pell City, EMS Officer Holliday of Fultondale, Deputy Fire Marshall Henderson of Fultondale and Chief Courington of Leeds. Adopted ‘Hosedraggers’ include Bart Moore, Kaylon Moore, Thomas Renfroe, and Sandy Holliday.
